These polaroids are from a collaboration between with Billy O'Callaghan and myself in Golden Gate Park. The way we did it was by having one person lay on the ground and the other stand above holding the strap of the polaroid camera and letting it dangle just high enough so the person laying down could reach out and push the button.
These fit into a series he is working on called Assisted Self Portraits.
And these are the photos I took with my 6x7 in response to the polaroids...
as an extra little bit of information, while we were in the park we saw a mother and her baby quails! it was amazingly adorable. ..
