I have been doing a terrible job of uploading my daily projects this weekend, so sorry for that. BE PREPARED FOR AMAZING THINGS TO HAPPEN!

Triple Base Mail Project

I have been at Triple Bases Gallery in the Mission for the past four days hosting a mail art trade booth at their Open For Business Show...I drew and mailed over 75 letters to strangers with the help of all the friendly people who came and visited my booth. Thanks to everyone who came by....and man, I need to take a break from drawing tomorrow....

I woke up really early this morning and started this giant grid moon painting over coffee. i'm a litttle less that half way through, my goal it to finish by the end of the day...

I've been covering up each one so it's a bit of a surprise when i see each one next to the next one.

Tonight Kyle and I made some little towers of food: potato, turnips, heirloom tomatoes, red onion and eggplant...all circluar food sliced and stacked with forbidden black rice and a side of fake meat...

DAY 30

Today helped out my friend Jessie who works at the farmers market for Dirty Girl Farm and it was amazing. Their vegetables are the best, and after listening to tons of delicious sounding cooking ideas from their costomers I went home and made tokyo turnips with orange beets, with sweet yellow potatoes and shallots. Just simple baking with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. So good.

DAY 27

These polaroids are from a collaboration between with Billy O'Callaghan and myself in Golden Gate Park. The way we did it was by having one person lay on the ground and the other stand above holding the strap of the polaroid camera and letting it dangle just high enough so the person laying down could reach out and push the button.

These fit into a series he is working on called Assisted Self Portraits.

And these are the photos I took with my 6x7 in response to the polaroids...

as an extra little bit of information, while we were in the park we saw a mother and her baby quails! it was amazingly adorable. ..
